The Courtenay Hereford cow herd consists of 60 to 80 cows, depending on the grass, and 10 to 20 replacement heifers. Even though we replace 10-15% of the cows each year, we have seven cows over 12 years of age and one cow Courtenay Miss 16U stayed on the farm until she was 21 years old. We have two cows listed as Dams of Great Distinction – Courtenay Miss 8B and Courtenay Miss 15C. Both are daughters of Kilmorlie 12P Rambo 86T in our opinion the best all-around bull raised by Kilmorlie Farms.
